How to Play

Partner MTA (Maximum Time Aloft) is a cooperative flying disc activity inspired by the Overall discipline of Maximum Time Aloft. One player throws the disc high into the air while their partner tracks its flight and attempts to catch it before it touches the ground. Unlike traditional MTA, where a player must both throw and catch their own disc, Partner MTA allows players to focus on one skill at a time. The thrower can concentrate on producing long, floating flights, while the catcher practices reading the wind, tracking the disc, and making controlled catches. Partner MTA is an excellent introduction to the Overall discipline of Maximum Time Aloft and helps players develop throwing technique, communication, patience, and disc awareness in a fun and cooperative setting.
