How to Play
Frisquare (Frisbee Four Square or Four Square Disc) takes the classic playground game of Four Square and replaces the bouncing ball with a flying disc. Four players each occupy one square, traditionally ranked from 1 to 4, with Square 4 serving as the Monarch square. Instead of bouncing a ball into another player's square, players throw the disc toward one of their opponents. The big twist is that the disc can only be touched while a player is airborne. When the disc comes into your square, you must jump, catch it, and release your throw toward another square before you land. If you land while still holding the disc, drop it, throw it out of bounds, or fail to make a legal return, you're out. When a player is eliminated, players in lower-ranked squares move up and a new player enters Square 1. The goal is to work your way around the court, reach the Monarch square, and stay there as long as possible. Frisquare combines the rotation and strategy of traditional Four Square with flying disc throwing, catching, jumping, body control, and quick decision-making.
